Carolyn Massey for Volt Magazine

Finally you can see the editorial I styled using Carolyn's a/w 2010 collection on Volt Cafe! Really love the industrial, moody and cold atmosphere of these photos. Great contrast to the warm and comforting clothes. As you can guess I am very proud of these images, it was a lot of work but now seeing it it makes it all worth it (despite the shit weather on that day, lots of mud, trying to tame 5 exuberant boys and at the same time keeping all the garments together... big thanks to my assistant Vicky!)

Rob Moore Outtakes

some coloured ones that didnt make it into Electric Youth

EY! Electric Youth

Sorry guys I haven't been updating this blog for way too long. Been on holidays for almost a month and then getting back to London with a cold to start with, and other tons of other issues that need to be taken care of. Finally I can put the Electric Youth photos on here (now that the magazine is out) I did a few months ago with Rob Moore modeling and Jolijn taking the pictures (and styled by me). I'm really happy about them. Now go and get your EY! copy.

That Hair Do was my Creation

and Tom Ford stole it from me. For his A/W Lookbook.
Featuring Jon Kortajarena

ok, I admit I stole the side parting idea from the Givenchy runway.

Me for H&M

This picture was taken by my neighbour Katja, I urgently needed a good 'autumny' photo of me as H&M will feature me on their website. Not gonna spoil the fun and say what for and in what way... and it wont be until November anyway. Roll on November. (not really, quite enjoying the summer now)

Madonna's New Family

for A/W Dolce & Gabbana, by Steven Klein

Btw, bumped into Madonna's real family yesterday in Selfridges, daughter Lourdes and boyfriend Jesus. Made my day.

Preview

of the shoot I did with Andras. Again, an unretouched picture. Sure the photographer will kill me for showing it on here. Anyway, can't withhold it from you.

Stitch

Last week I have been to Stitch at the Old Billingsgate Market. Stitch is the only clothes and accessories tradeshow entirely dedicated to menswear in the UK. British designers such as Carolyn Massey or Lou Dalton but also more commercial brands like the Village Green (I own a wonderful knitted jumper from that label and love it) showed their newest collections there and you could sit down with the designers and have a chat with them. A perfect way for buyers and also press to see the garments up front.

Maison Martin Margiela Exhibition

@ Somerset House. Been there a couple of weeks ago. It is amazing and really much bigger than I thought it would be. It is totally worth it, I suggest to everyone to really check it out if you're interested in this Parisian fashion house. You get to know lots of trivia and knowledge on his different collections, his famous shoulder shapes, the tailoring, the covering of the garments with paint and so on. Again: It is really worth! The exhibition will be on until September 5th, 2010.

Robert Huth Preview

I am so sorry I haven't put anything up here for such a long time. I dont even have a good excuse, maybe the sunny weather is a good excuse. And the world cup maybe. Anyway, Germany is out now (shame) so I will have enough time to update this wonderful blog more regularly. So here is a preview of a shoot that I did some weeks ago with Masha as photographer and Mark as model. I dressed him in Robert Huth's graduate collection. The picture is not edited and retouched yet but it is beautiful I just have to show it here now.
